You can spend a small fortune on them or not so much depending on the look you are aiming for. Some of the real leather obi belts do look amazing and sometimes it is worth spending that little bit extra for that gorgeous piece. However a leather look belt is sometimes all that's needed to finish off that Saturday night outfit!
